The concept of locating the antipodal point of any position on Earth offers a fascinating exploration of our planet's geography. Many individuals have often speculated that digging a hole straight through the Earth would lead them to China; however, this is a misconception. In reality, for most locations, the opposite point is typically found in the ocean.

This interactive tool allows users to easily determine the diametrically opposite location to their current position. Users can either check the antipodal point for their existing location or explore different areas globally by navigating the map.

The interface consists of two maps: the upper map displays the user’s selected location, while the lower map reveals its corresponding antipodal point. The antipode is defined as the point on Earth's surface that is directly opposite another point, connected by a straight line that passes through the center of the Earth. To reach an antipodal position in China from some regions, one would actually need to start from places like Argentina or Chile.
